About Us

Sami means the energy, the force that is used to accomplish something good. It also means bliss, happiness and joy. In Quechua, adding the suffix cha it becomes Saminchay, meaning to bless.

Guayusa and Yerba Mate have been consumed in South America for decades. Both are part of the same botanical family, the holly family. Guayusa (ilex guayusa) grows in the Amazonian forests of Ecuador and yerba mate (ilex paraguariensis) grows in Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.

Guayusa and Yerba Mate are naturally rich in caffeine which makes them beneficial for busy days. Unlike coffee & stimulating beverages, they will not cause any increase in blood pressure or a sudden drop in energy.

The combination of caffeine & theobromine promotes good mood, energy and mental clarity. Along with the energizing benefits, they are appreciated worldwide for their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory properties and key nutrients. Both contain caffeine, theobromine & polyphenols. Yerba Mate is a great source of vitamins B, C & E, as well as phosphorus, magnesium and calcium.

Guayusa contains vitamins C & D, calcium, potassium, zinc and chromium

You now have two natural stimulants at hand: neither causing a high, a crash or jitters!

Guayusa and yerba mate contain L-theanine; the antioxidant that improves concentration, helps to stabilize mood, reduce stress and relax the body!
